Love Yourself Again

Have you ever felt as if you weren’t enough?

There were days when my confidence was non-existent and I felt like a failure. Nothing could help me -or at least that’s what I thought-.

One day I decided it was time to change my attitude, I had to fall in love with myself again. Since then, not only has my mental health improved but it’s also allowed me to pursue my passions wholeheartedly (with this business) AND feel great doing stuff that isn’t aligned with my passions as well because that doesn’t define my path.

Today I want to share 5 amazing ways to love yourself again.

1- Stop comparing yourself to others.

It’s so easy to accidentally diminish yourself without even realizing that you doing so, because comparison steals your peace and happiness. It also makes you feel like you aren’t good enough when you truthfully are! It fills our minds with self-doubt, anger and insecurities. 

Also, please remember that we don’t all walk the same path and we all have gone through some rough stuff to get where we are today. Train yourself to be proud every step of the way!

2- Eradicate your limiting beliefs and transform your mindset

Easier said than done, right?

When I was living my darkest days, my mindset was at its absolute worst. I felt stuck and worthless. I felt like I didn’t have a real purpose, and the more I repeated rude words to myself, the more I started to believe them because our bodies get used to feel comfortable in sadness. 

I encourage you to change your mindset and reword your thinking. Using affirmations or getting someone to help you are great ways to start. If you need a supporter, hit my DMs and I’ll be glad to create a plan for you!

3- Reconnect with yourself through journaling 

Journaling on a daily can really help you reconnect with yourself. It also brings out those inner thoughts that might be holding you back or blocking you from loving yourself completely. Different journaling exercises can help you let go of all the negativity and really learn how to love yourself again.

My tip? Don’t filter your words BUT never talk badly of yourself. Creating a positive script about yourself can help you start developing your new character without much resistance. 

4- Celebrate all your wins

I can’t stress this enough. It’s so easy to feel like we aren’t making any progress and it can be extremely defeating BUT, when we take a step back and actually realize the progress we’ve made since the beginning, it can be eye-opening. 

Celebrate all wins, both big and small! Every step of the way is worth celebrating! It can make a huge difference when it comes to your self-esteem and falling in love with yourself again. I recommend writing down every single achievement so you can go back to it as many times as you need to remember how amazing you are. 

5- Transform yourself through positive affirmations

Try to start your day off by writing down 10 positive affirmations. You can even try to write down 10 things you love about yourself too! This is a great way to not only start your day in a positive state but to reflect on the things you truly love about yourself rather than focusing on anything negative. If this doesn’t feel real for some reason or you feel like those affirmations aren’t yours, start small. Write down 3-5 affirmations and ass a new one every time you feel like it. 

Some to start could be:

I am worthy

I am strong 

I am beautiful

I am smart

I am capable of achieving greatness

I am transforming myself and stepping into a better reality

I love myself 

You can find the way back to yourself but you need to let go of that past version that no longer serves you.
