What’s Your Statement?

In this episode I share how my therapist suggested I write a victim impact statement as a means for letting go of past hurts, pain, and anger. This lead me to believe that I then needed to re-do inner child work since I had essentially on some level done a victim impact statement during that time. Here’s the thing…I never did the victim impact statement because I didn’t even know where to start.

In this episode I suggest the following activities:

  1. If you are going to do a victim impact statement do it for you and not for what you think it will get you from others.

  2. When you’ve expressed the impact of the experience you’ve had, use that information to create a new direction and meaning for yourself. Don’t allow it to keep you where you are.
