What’s the Meaning?
In this episode I share my thoughts about the inaccurate meanings I created based on the action of others. By creating these meanings I shortchanged myself in how I thought and as a result showed up in my relationship with myself and my husband and with others outside of my immediate family.
In this episode I suggest the following activities:
Speak up if the situation will have long-term consequences for your mental, emotional, or physical well being. If it won’t then it might be best to let it go.
Reflect in the moment when possible to determine if the meaning of what you are creating is 100% true. If not, then re-adjust and proceed in a more powerful way.
Focus on what you can control - what you say, what you think, what you feel, and what you do.
